√2020-2022 Bentley Bentayga recalled in Australia

The fault could cause seats to move without notice, according to the manufacturer.

Bentley has recalled 128 examples of its Bentley Bentayga in Australia, citing a potential fault with the rear seats.

The affected vehicles are stamped Model Years 2020 to 2022.

The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: “Due to improper assembly during production, the rear seat runners may not be correctly aligned/locked to the seat frame rails. As a result the seats may not lock in place and may move inadvertently.

“In the event of an accident or hard braking if the rear seats move, it could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants.”
