Seekers singer once starred in Torana commercials

Seekers singer Judith Durham once endorsed the iconic Holden Torana, offering her voice to commercials. The role involved both singing and speaking to promote a then-new ‘LC’ Holden Torana.

Durham was front and centre in the commercials singing the song Breakaway, and instead of getting cash in return, the singer was reportedly gifted a 1969 Holden Torana GTR. To watch the full video check out our story here.

US Porsche restorer halts orders of classic model

In an effort that will boost profits, US Porsche restorer Singer has pushed pause on its range of million-dollar modified 911s.

The restoration company is renowned for its modifications of classic 911 versions, however is moving towards more profitable editions based on later 911 Turbo versions. Check out the full article here.

New ‘affordable’ electric cars slated for Australia

Five new electric cars are heading for Australia, all of which are competing for one title: Australia’s more affordable electric vehicle.
