√Renault Captur, Arkana, Megane RS and Master prices increase

Prices of the Renault Captur, Arkana, Megane RS and Master have increased by as much as $1100, affecting all but a handful of model grades for the four models.

The Australian importer for Renault has increased the prices of more than half of its current model line-up, with the price jumps ranging from $200 to $1100.

Renault’s Australian website shows the Captur small SUV, Arkana medium SUV, Megane RS hot hatch and Master vans have all been affected by the price rise, though to varying degrees.

Prices for the Renault Arkana have risen by $700 for the Zen and RS Line grades while the mid-range Intens has been hit with a $200 increase – with the SUV range now priced from $37,500 to $45,000 plus on-road costs.

Although the final batch of Renault Megane RS hot hatchbacks is months away from Australia, the standard Trophy versions of the hot hatch are now $500 more expensive, starting from $63,500 plus on-road costs in Trophy manual guise.

The Ultime limited edition is unchanged, at $67,500 plus on-road costs with a manual, or $3000 more with an automatic.

For the Renault Captur, three of the city SUV’s four variants have been handed a price increase, applying to the Life ($1200), Zen ($1200) and Intens ($700) grades. The Captur RS Line is unaffected.

The Master is the only Renault van to be affected by the price rises, increasing by between $1000 to $1100 for vans, while the 12-seat bus has risen by $1100.
