√2024 Ford Everest Wildtrak price and specs

The Ford Everest SUV has received the Ranger ute’s ‘Wildtrak’ treatment, with off-road looks and minor tech upgrades.

  • 2023 Ford Everest pricing and specifications
  • Ranger’s Wildtrak styling now available on Everest twin
  • V6 turbo-diesel power only
  • Priced from $73,090 plus on-road costs

The Ford Everest Wildtrak has been locked in for Australian arrival between July and September 2023, bringing styling from the popular Ranger Wildtrak ute to its SUV twin-under-the-skin for the first time.

While Australian patents for the Everest Wildtrak were discovered by Drive in July 2022 – and locked in for New Zealand in January 2023 – Ford’s Australian operations remained coy regarding its plans for the off-road-focused SUV until today.

Priced from $73,090 plus on-road costs, the Ford Everest Wildtrak is the second-most expensive variant of the SUV – sitting behind the Platinum which is set to be hit by a price increase (from $77,530 to $78,530) for the 2024 model year.

Ford’s Everest Wildtrak is also $700 more than the equivalent Ranger Wildtrak – continuing the trend of the SUV’s grades being more expensive than those of its ute twin.

A number of styling cues from the Ranger Wildtrak have been carried across to the Everest Wildtrak, such as a unique front bumper with darker accents, LED fog lamps, black wheel-arch flares and window trim.

A set of 20-inch ‘Asphalt Matt Black’ alloy wheels with all-season tyres are standard fit, though buyers can opt for 18-inch ‘Boulder Grey’ alloys and all-terrain tyres for no extra cost.

The Ranger Wildtrak’s signature ‘Luxe Yellow’ paint is also available for the new Everest variant (pictured).

Inside, the Wildtrak treatment continues with ebony leather upholstery (and ‘Cyber Orange’ stitching), a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat (eight-way for front passenger) with heating and cooling, a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, exterior zone lighting and interior ambient lighting.

The Ford Everest Wildtrak also benefits from the addition of a tyre pressure monitoring system, previously exclusive to the range-topping Platinum grade.

It is understood Australian-delivered examples of the Ford Everest Wildtrak will not be equipped with the matrix LED headlights and 12-inch instrument display from the Everest Platinum, utilising standard LED headlights and an 8.0-inch digital dash instead.

The Everest Wildtrak is powered by Ford’s 3.0-litre, turbo-diesel V6 engine, which sends its 184kW and 600Nm outputs to a full-time all-wheel-drive system through a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Ford claims the V6 engine returns a combined fuel consumption of 8.5L/100km.

When fitted with Ford’s optional ‘Tow Pack’ – available for an extra $1700 – the Everest Wildtrak has a braked towing capacity of 3500kg.

The 2024 Ford Everest Wildtrak is due to arrive in Australian showrooms between July and September 2023.
