√Video: Driving instructor crashes through wall of driving school
If you think you’ve had a bad day at work, spare a thought for this Colorado driving instructor who turned a walk-up test into a drive-in park.
How embarrassing.
A driving instructor in Colorado, USA has accidentally crashed through the front wall of the Community Driving School premesis while trying to park their car.
While no one was seriously injured, the Hyundai Tucson lodged beneath the ‘Learn to Drive’ signage may cause significant reputational damage to the business, let alone the career of the instructor involved.
In a social media post made on X (formally known as Twitter) by the Lakewood, Colorado Police Department, security camera footage shows the Hyundai turn into the parking space in front of the driving school and then accelerate into the building.

The X/Twitter post notes that several people had to dive out of harm’s way as the car impacted the building and that the driver was cited for a traffic violation. No specifics have been provided as to the cause of the accident, but Drive assumes that as the driver was penalised for the incident, it is most likely a case of user error rather than vehicle malfunction.
According to the school’s website, Community Driving School operate from four locations in the Denver area, and provide a range of training solutions from first time teenage driving lessons to further education for adult drivers. Perhaps the incident this week will form part of their training material moving forward, as a great example to illustrate that behind the wheel, things can go wrong regardless of your experience.
