√Tesla Cybertruck dimensions leak ahead of launch

Despite its on-road presence, leaked dimensions show the Tesla Cybertruck will actually be smaller than the Ford F-150.

The first customer deliveries of the Tesla Cybertruck are expected to begin in a matter of weeks, but final specifications of the electric pick-up have yet to be announced by the US car maker.

However, some details are now known thanks to a Tesla insider, who has leaked the Cybertruck’s dimensions on the Cybertruck Owners Club website, spotted by Electrek.

The insider claims the Cybertruck is 5669mm long, 2030mm wide, 1791mm high (in its suspension’s medium height setting), and with a wheelbase of 3632mm.

This makes the electric ute slightly larger than the Rivian R1T and Toyota Tacoma (with a 6ft bed), but not as long as a Ford F-150 or Ram 1500.

While the information has not been verified, the user has included a photo of the rear power outlets which has not been seen in the past.

The user also says the dual-motor Cybertruck weighs 3026kg, while the tri-motor variant weighs 3125kg. Curiously, those figures are far less than the weights reported last month – however those numbers could relate to the ute’s overall gross vehicle mass (GVM) when fully loaded.

Maximum towing capacity is said to be five tonnes, with a ball weight of 500kg.

The length of the Cybertruck’s tub is 1842mm with a width of 1295mm, and a load capacity of 1587kg.

Tesla has promised first customer deliveries will begin on November 30, US time, with final production specifications and prices expected when the model officially launches.
