√2021 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace recalled in Australia
The fault could cause the rear wheel bearing housing to fracture, according to the recall notice.
Volkswagen Australia has recalled 137 examples of its 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace, citing a fault with the SUV’s rear wheel bearing housing.
The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: “Due to a manufacturing issue, the rear wheel bearing housing may fracture. If this occurs it could result in loss of vehicle control.
“A loss of vehicle control could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death of vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”
