√2023 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS deliveries to begin in November
A year after the Cayman GT4 RS was revealed, local deliveries of the much-anticipated coupe will begin in a matter of weeks.
The 2023 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS will soon begin deliveries to Australian customers.
Local deliveries of the quickest and most exclusive Cayman to be created by Porsche is set to start in November 2022 – a year after the car was revealed to the world.
The 718 Cayman GT4 RS features a mid-mounted 4.0-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six engine, sending 368kW and 450Nm to the rear wheels exclusively through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
It’s enough to propel the Cayman to 100km/h from a standstill in 3.4 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 315km/h.
Australian buyers need to hand over $300,800 before on-road costs for the privilege of owning a GT4 RS.
Porsche hasn’t disclosed how many vehicles its Australian arm is scheduled to get over the car’s planned circa-three-year production run, but Porsche GT boss Andreas Preuninger said the GT4 RS is “not a limited car”.

“Everyone who wants one, should get one,” Mr Preuninger told Drive earlier this year.
“We asked every region how many they think they can sell … and then we added 30 per cent to have some safety [margin]. That’s why we say everybody who orders one should get one,” he added.
While Porsche Australia says it expects demand for the 718 Cayman GT4 RS to outstrip supply, it hasn’t been marked as ‘sold out’ just yet.
