Australian distributor of BYD supplies safety bulletin, stop-delivery notice

Australian customers of the BYD Atto 3 electric car have been told to not install a child restraint in the middle back seat position, due to a breach of Australian Design Rules. Issued in a safety bulletin last weekend, the news comes after Drive reported that a five-star safety score was yet to be awarded.
