√Volvo Australia prices rise by up to $4000
Prices across all but two new Volvo models in Australia have increased by up to $4000 for the new year.
Volvo Australia has increased prices across 15 of its 17 models for the start of 2023.
In effect from 1 January 2023, prices have increased by between $500 and $4000 across most models in the C40, XC40, XC60, XC90, S60 and V60 Cross Country model ranges.
A Volvo Australia spokesperson told Drive the price increases are due to “the cost of raw materials and logistics” rather than an additional features or technology.
The Volvo XC40 Plus B4 and Ultimate B4 Bright have received the smallest increases, at $500 each, while the XC90 Recharge Ultimate T8 Plug-in Hybrid has been hit with the largest increase, of $4000.
Two models have escaped price increases for January 2023 – the XC60 Plus B5 and Ultimate B5 Bright mid-size SUVs.
